Operator Certificates of Competency is a legal requirement for any operator on any type of lifting equipment. The training is accredited with TETA (Transport Education Training Authority as well as Department of Labour and is subject to the National Code of Practice (NCOP) for lifting equipment operator training, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996.
